Wish I could not give them this one star either. A couple of days ago I reached out to them to view a property on castle road in Colchester. This property was available for rent. I talked to them and got a viewing booked for 6.30 pm for Friday 21st April 2023. I got an e-mail confirmation on Thursday from Danny saying they are delighted to confirm my appointment. I am based in west London. On Friday 21st April, i pushed some important work commitments and meetings to finish work early and travel to Colchester to view the property. I called them at 3.57 pm. I mentioned that I have a viewing for the property at 6.30 pm so just want to confirm we are going ahead with that before I set off from London. The lady on the phone said yes its all good, and that my viewing is going ahead and that they are looking forward to meet me at the property. I hit the road at 4 pm, drove for more than 2 hours through mad rush hour weekend traffic all the way from west london to castle road Colchester. And I found no one there. I called their office. No response. I opened my email. And in there there is an e-mail from Danny received at 5 pm saying ‘Your viewing appointment booked for 21st April 2023 at 06:30PM has been cancelled. If I can be of any further assistance to you please do not hesitate to contact me.’ They cancelled my viewing 1.5 hours before despite me having confirmed with them an hour before over the phone that the viewing is going ahead. They had zero professionalism or decency or shame to even give me a phone call and inform me that viewing has been cancelled. Atleast that way I would’ve turned around half way and saved some time and fuel. I had to drive more than 4 hours return journey for absolutely nothing. Looks like they have zero respect or sympathy for people. Extremely unprofessional attitude and a lack of respect and basic common sense to atleast give someone a phone call if you are cancelling their appointment 1.5 hours before the appointment time when they have just confirmed with you over the phone that the viewing is going ahead.
