Everyone knows renting in London is a nightmare and it's partially because of awful estate agents like Eaton Green. The people who work here are rude, dishonest, irresponsible, and unprofessional. Also, £900 p/m for a rat-infested studio flat in South London should be a criminal offence. They deducted £30 from my deposit just to change a single lightbulb which begs the question: 'How many greedy agents does it take to change a lightbulb?' Well, they dont, they'll just lie to your face and take more of your money. I had even flagged the bulb went out to Emelis during the first and only inspection in over a year and offered to change it myself for free and save the landlord and myself some money. Emelis, si llegas a leer esto algun dia, que lastima me da saber que una Latina este engañando a otro Latino despues de todo lo que hablamos. Te deberia dar vergüenza. Other lies from Eaton Green include: -Advertising the flat as a "self-contained studio flat" but forget to mention the washing machine is shared with the neighbours and it's in a dirty hallway. -Francesca saying the landlord would have the flat professionally cleaned before the move-in date - there was dirt, rubbish, dust, nails, and random stains everywhere as shown in the pictures. I never heard a response about this and had to clean their mess myself. -Claiming the property was fitted with smoke and CO2 alarms. I had to request these alarms to be installed as it's an obvious safety hazard. I'm truly ashamed I ever did any business with them. I would them give -1 stars if I could. Avoid at all costs.
