I dealt with this business in a previous incarnation for an investment in Liverpool. It was sold with a major 'diligence' pack but ultimately even the most basic checks on the developer had not been undertaken and the project was a 10 year nightmare for myself and 9 other investors. What followed was a legal battle to try and recover some of our losses on a joint basis, and Brett Allegre Wood and his team sold us an unsuitable and unfinished investment and then walked away. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
