This agency is beyond picky. They even complained about me hanging a few pictures of my children on the wall (to make the house more homely). When I moved, i repainted and painted over all the screw and nail holes. They insisted on the carpets being professionally cleaned and proof of invoice, even though I own a carpet steamer and the carpets were kept immaculate anyway. We had one noise complaint and we told them our side of the story, but I could tell straight away they didn't really want to hear it. After that, the ladies at the agency told me to not think about it as it's only a small complaint, nothing formal and just respect the neighbours and lower the noise and we're all good. They even had the cheek to complain about kids singing on a karaoke machine and running on stairs in the day time at weekends. This is pretty disturbing, to actually not be ok with kids being kids and expecting them not to do their thing in the day time at weekends. Anyway, about to weeks later, without any more noise etc we received a notice to vacate the property. We now managed to move, and thankfully not deal with these people anymore. (We of course have to take the loss of moving of almost a grand and 3 days off self employed work). Just as a closing statement, if you're a bloke, dealing with them, be weary as all their staff are oldish old fashioned women (no sight of a male employee in cj residential). Hope this review will help future tenants. Also landlords, don't be smug, as you're losing rent every time you move someone out based on their recommendations
