Maintenance issues aren't ever fixed or take months to fix (we had to go without a working washing machine for over 6 months) and they have the audacity to raise rent during all of this when it's already massively overpriced. Awful, greedy estate agents (what a surprise). Avoid at all costs.

16 Jul 2022Dear Adam, We are very sorry that you feel that way regarding the issue you have raised here. Firstly, as we explained to your house mate when the issue was raised initially, we could not find any maintenance issue reported by any of the tenants regarding the washing machine through our maintenance portal (property file) and we only found out about the issue when the notice of rent increase were emailed and you mentioned this as part of your objection to the rent increase. Upon receiving your email, we informed the landlord and he agreed to replace the washing machine and gas hob as well as rectifying the maintenance issues. Secondly, with regard to rent increase, the landlord kept rent the same for over two years during the pandemic and only decided to increase it when everything was back to normal. The amount of increase was based on the rental value of the property at the time and in accordance with the similar properties in the same area. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
We offer different approaches for complaints to be logged. We do prefer a written form by emailing complains@airsatrealestate.co.uk not to miss any details. Alternatively We advise telephone conversations by calling the office.
