Now that it’s all over, what happened this afternoon seems quite funny. You couldn’t make it up. We had an appointment to view a house in Chippy where a rep from Fairfax was due to meet us to show us round. On the way, a raging man with a contorted, angry face started honking his horn and shouting ‘fu..ing learn to drive’ whilst I was trying to pull out onto a busy road. The abuse continued and I retorted that I wasn’t going to crash into traffic just because he was bullying me. Even though we were at a crossroads, he pulled up next to me on the other side of the road and continued his tirade of demented abuse through my open window, before zooming off exactly one car ahead of me after I managed to get out onto the road myself. Snaking through the busy town centre, we noticed this man had parked up so that we had to drive past him. He gestured rudely as we drove past and I honestly thought ‘this maniac is going to punch me in the face’. We locked the doors and did up the windows in anticipation but luckily we lost him. Although I gave him a piece of my mind, not being one to be intimidated by men like this, I was nonetheless shaking and I could have done with a nicer end to day. Imagine my surprise when it was this prat who met us as we pulled into the drive of the house we were due to view! I admit to enjoying letting rip a bit when he had the nerve to peer through the passenger window because he was Now forced to at least try to be professional. But all this angry bully boy could find to say is ‘you need to learn to drive.’ Though this time he bleated rather than shouted at me. What a condescending twat. Though local, I will NEVER have dealings with this company again and I will warn everyone I know what people at Fairfax are like. This was a very scary person. Unhinged, even. Reading many other reviews, this man has a long reputation of appalling behaviour, so the only conclusion to draw is that the company is okay with behaviour like this. I would never like to cross paths with this individual again. He was dangerously angry at absolutely nothing and he is clearly unsafe. What a way to go through life.
