At last I have returned to Cornwall and have this opportunity to put in writing my disgust at the way we were treated and cheated by this agency. As local people, moving away from Cornwall due to redundancy, we put our self built house in Truro with Lillicrap (former Millers employee). We had an offer from a local couple who lived literally just down the road. This was less than we could accept (mainly due to massive mortgage). We then had an offer from a consultant moving to the area which we accepted. It is a good job the original buyers were local because we found out through them that Lillicrap did not pass on their higher offer. We did the right thing and went with them as the original viewers. The situation then got more distressing when I was literally accosted in Truro by the consultants wife who accused me of playing dirty. Lillicrap played dirty by NOT ONLY hiding the offer from us but clearly not telling the doctors family the truth. We were honourable. If we were not moving out of County I would have taken this matter further. Knowing what I know about Lillicrap, it seems courting high earners etc is more important than being truthful. Still he certainly has come a long way from Millers. Remember unlike the American Realtor system, anybody can set themselves up with an office (especially with a bit of family money) take a few customers from, say, Millers for instance and voila! Sadly I have read all the bad reviews and feel so sorry for all of you - lets face it selling and moving is stressful enough. However I have saved at least one friend in St Ives, who was very unimpressed by whoever they sent to value her large house with sea views. I was born in St Ives. Locals you DO NOT NEED this lot.

9 Sept 2022AllAgents has revealed the identity of the writer of this . My company has no record of ever having acted or indeed had any form of contact with that person . Furthermore , I have not dealt with the sale of a £320,000 self built house in Truro . I think this is , yet again , another estate agent or suchlike freely and with zero checking afforded the chance to libel me and my firm by Allagents.co.uk I think by now we , like most of the UK , realise what a breeding ground for libel by grudge bearing members of society this autocratic website is .

Avoid Lillicrap Chilcott like the plague - unless you like being gazumped and deceived! Unfortunately, we were recently gazumped by LC and seller on a beautiful St Ives property. All parties had amicably agreed the sale/purchase two months earlier, and we were on the brink of exchanging ... Read Full Review

Tried to buy a small piece of agricultural land via this outfit. On all of their marketing and conversations prior to my off was no mention made of there being an existing tenant farmer. Also obviously no mention that vacant occupation could be possible. The earliest I heard of this was after I ... Read Full Review

I had dealings with two people predominantly in this office. One was very professional (and the other, *, I found to be utterly convinced of his own importance and blissfully unaware of how he made us feel in viewing a 'lower end' house at under £350,000. His comments (on more than one occasion) ... Read Full Review

Today I received the news that our offer which was accepted last thursday, 1 week ago, has now been gazumped in favour of another offer. We felt that they have been unproffesional, we have no chain and we have started all neccssery proceedings, and our morgage advisor had told them we are in a ... Read Full Review
