Made an offer on vendors house ( who works for Graham Butts ) in July . The manager wanted proof of funding immediately which was supplied and my offer was accepted. I was told vendor needed to find a house & was looking for a project to make a profit as they did with their current house . Time passed so I asked for memorandum of sale & to pass my details to my solicitor. They refused as the vendor hadn't found a house ( was told made 17 unsuccessful offers) . Time passed no communication from them . Made contact & was told the same still looking to buy , I was told they would understand if I carried on looking elsewhere & couldn't guarantee that the vendor would decide not to sell . Although made clear the vendor was very happy to sell to myself . To this date 20th Dec still no contact whatsoever . The vendor who works for Graham Butt's & the manager clearly should know the market more as having looked myself at property it's not a time to buy a house to make a profit . I certainly wouldn't recommend Graham Butt's or trust the staff . Recently got a Christmas card from them but as it stands I made an accepted offer on the vendors house back in July . I was also told it was removed from the property portal due to so many calls but still very happy to sell to myself . Not trustworthy at all .
