Utmost Professionalism! Best Experience! When I finally found an apartment in Birmingham two years prior, I felt very lucky. In hindsight, I was even luckier to have found this place with PLACES as its letting agency. Before moving to Birmingham (and the UK in general), I had heard many horror stories about letting agencies and my first attempts looking for an apartment in Brum were not a good sign. Eventually, however, I viewed the apartment I ended up taking and throughout the tenancy, PLACES – and especially among their agents I want to thank Chloë in particular but also Monika– proved to be highly professional in their conduct and in their communication; as well as they were showing kindness and understanding when a family medical emergency occupied me for more than half a year and included an extended stay abroad: PLACES not only made sure the apartment was kept in good condition but even ensured that upon my return, which required me to participate in the quarantine and COVID testing regime at the time, my internet (necessary for the testing and quarantine updates) was working before I returned. The two times I needed a repair person to come to fix minor wear and tear, the shower hose developing a small leak and the thermostat of the water-heater needing replacement, I received an immediate response and a friendly and professional contractor came the next morning. Upon check-out, they helped organize the end-of-tenancy cleaning and also helped me find some information, when I ran into some difficulties with the moving of my furniture to another country. There was no issue with return of the deposit, as I left the apartment in good repair, they communicated about cleaning and their final inspection within three days after my lease had ended and authorized the return payment, with no hidden fees or any other hitches. I find that they care about their properties and their tenants both. For me “taking care” is the mark of professionalism, and I found that “professional” is the best way I can describe PLACES…. and, definitely, Chloë as an agent. THANK YOU!!! I can only highly recommend PLACES. I will also say that anybody considering them should definitely be a person who cares for the places that they are living in, since PLACES does their due diligence with background checks and the way potential tenants approach them and communicate with them to make sure that tenants are not of the anti-social kind. I found that, as much in care as you are willing to give, PLACES will give you in return. If I’d ever return to Birmingham or had a friend or colleague moving there, I’d happily point them to PLACES and also argue that even if the apartments on offer at the time were a bit more expensive than others on the market, they should still go with PLACES, because having peace of mind with a professional letting agency that is diligent and communicates swiftly and clearly, no matter the issue, is priceless.

2 girls who work there are lovely and offer good customer service. Everyone else is rude especially this middle aged Karen but that always tends to be the case.
