This company only caters to prejudice. They only consider the local welsh people in the surrounding area when taking offers for property or accepting offers for property. If you are not welsh, you will receive a low valuation of your property. If you are welsh then you will receive an over estimated valuation. I was valued £120,000 as a valuation for a 3 bedroom, mid terrace property with a full renovation. New windows, doors, boiler Kitchen. Full pristine Renovation. We tried to make an offer on a property which had been sold and fell through and was told that the vendor wished the property to be sold to someone who lives "locally" which was a two bedroom mid terrace outdated house but it had a little spot for parking at the back of it and it was valued a £140,000. we were hung up on when stated that we were not going to increase our offer which was £128,000 for a 2 bedroom property that had not seen a lick of paint or update for 40 years or so. needed totally gutting. £12.000 under asking price is not out of the question in our opinion. The conclusion to my review is that the the partner in the Porthmadog branch called Phil defended his wife for hanging up the phone and a was very rude and confrontational and admitted that they only wanted to sell the property to local welsh people. If you acted in this manor in any other part of the UK you would be accused of prejudice. In North Wales this is normal practice. Even the businesses behave in this unprofessional manner.
