I've requested viewings using this agency twice; the first appointment I was 10 mins late and no agent was at the property so I contacted the agent and I was told that the property had already an application on it. No worries as I was late, my fault. The second time several months later, I viewed a different property where I was told by the agent showing me round that I would be contacted either Mon or Tue with regards to making a letting application. On the said Monday I e mailed the agency and also rang them. Tuesday late afternoon no reply from agency so I rang and was told that thecsamevthings as before, that an application had already been put in! The reply to one e mail that I sent was just an e-ad, with no personal response about my letting the flat. The agent I spoke to told me that someone had rang me twice but I received so missed calls so that was not accurate. The agent I spoke to also said that they hadn't received any e mail from me! A few seconds after she said this an e mail from them arrived in my inbox, again just a form ad. I asked how could this be that I'd had no missed calls and had two meaningless e mails from this company. The agent told me she did no vknow how but was very sorry the flat had gone. So basically, twice I had gone through the rigmarole of viewing properties and awaiting the agents response and twice they have not even had the decency to even call me or e mail. This makes me wonder how do they choose tenants? Certainly not on an equality basis. I am a non smoker, polite, no pets typical mid 50's, quiet, references etc.
