Looking to view a 4 bedroom rental property. Due to block booking schedule we were given a viewing date for two weeks later. A few days before the viewing we enquired to see if an earlier date was available as we were needing to secure a property ASAP as needing to vacate current home within 6 weeks. At this point we found out that they had booked us to view the wrong property. They then went on to offer us an earlier alternative viewing date and time for the correct property. The day before the viewing they phoned to inform us they’d double booked the viewing slot and cancelled us. They were unable to say if they could reschedule. This estate agent made us feel very insignificant and despite a lot of inconvenience and disappointment as a result of their own incompetence they were unwilling to rectify the situation and as a result our home search has been compromised. (cannot use the excuse of having new staff member as they should be supervised until competent ). I think it’s important that potential landlords should be aware of the service they are paying this company for. As a tenant we were made to feel of very little importance as we obviously are not going to be profitable. Will not recommend or use again.
