Steer clear of this estate agent , missed all of the stamp duty deadlines due to their inept style of chasing. My buyer did all of the chasing with little or no input from the estate agent that was paid to do the job . Very disappointed with the service we received. Kept in the dark with no information on how the sale was progressing . The branch manager was at best not fit to do her job and the chaser from Streetly office was at best useless. Alex me on the day of exchange very confused and had no idea we were exchanging on that day . Their commission would be well spent elsewhere .

11 Jan 2022We are very disappointed with the comments here but respect your views! The problem and hold up was due to the very unfortunate circumstances that the buyer of your property found herself in, losing a buyer in the first instance, then getting tied up with complicated lease issues where the freeholder had passed away. The sales progressor's dealing with this worked tirelessly on the file. There are extensive notes on this property with updates emails and calls to all parties and your purchasers agent did not chase as we did, in fact she thanked us for going above and beyond. Solicitors were under great pressure at this time and we could only get feedback as and when the solicitors gave us the information. On the day of exchange of contracts no communication was forthcoming from the said Solicitor's. Regarding the unfair and somewhat unfounded comment regarding the manager there was no justification or fault on the vendors of your onward purchase, therefore we could not secure the vast reduction to compensate for missing the stamp duty deadline that was asked for! The onward purchase was however secured at a £25,000 reduction on the original asking price. We hope you have now settled and are happy in your new home. Kind Regards , Georgina Guest
