Trading Places Sale

Letting summary.... For those thinking of Trading Places being your letting agent for your property. Please reconsider such. Being an overseas landlord and having numerous properties already, Julie and Mev seem to talk to talk, but fall very short of walking the walk. By far the worst service I have received in 10 years. Items: - Very slow on email communication (inability to whatsapp) - No initial or end of tenancy inventory taken or issued - Signed contract never provided - Initial cleaning was very poor and tenant sent me photo proof - Slow replies even when it came to extending lease/renegotiation with tenant - Tenant even reached out to me as the "full management letting agent" were all uncontactable after a couple of weeks about a particular repair - Even one repair was never finished off (painting over new plaster) - Gas certificate never issued although charged - Where they did sort a repair, the repair was above market rate. This included a washing machine repair for example which was more expensive than purchasing a brand new one. I was very fortunate to have a really pleasant, understanding and nice tenant who cut out the middle man agents (Julie and Mev) and came straight to myself to assist them. Thank you for that as I really appreciate such communication. Summary: Trading places purchase was smooth but not outstanding. Trading places letting talk the talk, but cannot even crawl when it comes to walking the walk!
