At first it felt like, after having had such unprofessional experiences with estate agents previously, we had finally found agents that we could trust. And yes, I must admit that I was drawn towards Saphias style of speaking (who liased with me from the get go). She came accross as calm and seemed to be listening to what we wanted. Unfortunately, later we would find out why this EA sadly would end up showing themselves to be the worst I have ever dealt with. They strung us along nicely to believe this was a legitimate rental. We then had to wait until the moment that we had agreed and were ready to put the deposit down to be asked to meet the landlord in person. We did this and then were told that we were to pay in cash for rent because the landlord wanted to evade tax. Thanks for wasting out time!
