As a buyer they are not to be trusted. Claim vendor has accepted offer but go behind back to arrange further viewings. Take forever to answer queries and then are abusive when retracting an offer. Play up to all the stereotypes that give estate agents a bad name

17 Apr 2021‘Truthful’ reviews we have no issue with, if they are negative we are happy to address any problems. However in this case, initially you were not in a position to purchase since your own sale was not secure (and subsequently fell through). We therefore continued to take viewers until you came back again with your own property agreed. This property has been sale agreed to you for nearly two months and you withdrew your offer yesterday morning because you have decided you like another property better. Of course we are annoyed. Due to your actions we have lost two other potential buyers, because ultimately you were not committed. Our client is the seller of the house and every decision we make is to protect their interests. Unfortunately in this case our diligence was clearly not enough.

23 Aug 2023This is truthful review. This has happened to me as well when dealing with Pooler. Sale agreed in the beginning of February but the agent kept on organising viewings "behind my back" because the inspection of wiring found it health and safety hazard. Apparently, the vendor was trying to sell it to someone else without fixing the issues and without informing me that the sale fell through. I learned that sale was ALSO agreed with someone else through my solicitor after I got the mortgage offer. Pooler also lied to the solicitor they had informed me about it, which was not the case. AVOID!

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
