Avoid at all costs!! Oakleaf are part of the barratt homes group, they sell the homes that people part exchange with barratt. Apart from a fixed price, do not expect any level of service at all. They are the cheapest of all companies. There will be no extras, securities or even white goods if they can avoid it. Avoid they do. You won't be given a move in date for months with no reassurance and their lawyers take on average 4-5 weeks to reply to any emails regarding the sale. It took 2 months for them to officially accept my offer in writing!! At the same time they will demand to know your progression with mortgage application, who is conveyancing. They make you jump through hoops then can't answer any simple question! They held up the missives for 6 hours on the day of the key handover because they took sooo long to fax the necessary paperwork. It took me 4 months from start to finish with about 3 communications from viewing to keys! Will never buy fro oakleaf or barratt for that matter ever again! Disgrace!
