I had unfortunate pleasure to view the property recently with an agent who was extremely rude. So my partner and I are looking for property to rent. We managed to arrange the viewings for the property. It was only possible around lunch time so I had to take time off work to get there. Everything went fine after seeing the property had a significant amount of mould in every single area of the property. I have raised the concerns to the agent and asked if it would be possible to refresh the property. I offer supply the materials and the labour. He's said that yes we can ask the landlord and if we paint the house in some standard colours it shouldn't be a problem. But straight after he added that the house is old and it is normal.. That the previous tenants liked it like that(?) To say in the end that if I don't like it I will have to find something else(!) After showing us the garage that he didn't have a key to. We came back to our previous conversation and when I tried to point out that he's response was out of order he then turned around and went to his car. Totally disrespectful behaviour of this man. I really don't know this agency as I have never heard about them before. Shame on you for wasting our time with such an unprofessional and rude attitude!

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
