Utterly useless! Attempting to organise a viewing with Whitaker's is like trying to replicate the D-Day landings. They don't tailor the time and date to suit you but bizarrely to suit the house. They only do viewings of a certain house on one day, another on a different day. I work full time so took a day off especially to view houses. The girl who showed us around early in the morning (I say showed us around, she opened the front door and stood outside on her phone and couldn't answer a single question) admitted she didn't have much else on that day but for reasons unknown to man couldn't show us around any of the other properties we'd previously requested to see. I contacted them to say I was interested in the property we did view but I needed assurances some repairs would be done. I was told they would contact the landlord. I heard nothing for a few days and asked again to be told they had contacted the landlord but were awaiting a response. I waited another few days and phoned them to be told by a very rude woman who expected I should know the ins and outs of property law that I have to send all of the documents to them and pass the credit check before they can even speak to the landlord to see if they're going to make the house safe enough to live in! I managed to find the documents hidden on their website and sent them. I never got so much as an acknowledgment of receipt. After a week I gave up and went to someone competent. AVOID!
