Terrible company, strongly recommend avoiding. Business model on sell side is simple - over promise and under deliver. They sell you a dream with an inflated valuation. Ever wonder why it looks like they have so much of the market? Thats because lots of houses stay on the market for ages not selling because the price is too high. You have to go through the soul destroying process of reduce, reduce, reduce. All the while, it's impossible to get hold of people or get straight answers. Graham is arrogant and disingenuous. The contract they use is off market - they try to fix the fee at their opening valuation rather than a % of sales price. And they term is effectively minimum 6 months. People came to our door to tell us they couldn't get appointments to see the house. Viewings were missed because they're too busy. Even the process after agreeing a sale through to exchange was dreadful because they don't care.

This is not the first time you have left a message on a property review page about Cassidy & Tate and our manager Graham Coton, in fact I believe this is the third review now over the last few months regarding Graham. Once again we are aware who you are and I'm sorry you feel unsatisfied over our service. 99% of our properties are fully marketed however as we couldn't gain access into yours the marketing was not as good as we would like. We can advise on price however when vendors advise they want to increase the value we have to oblige. When we advise the property is not attracting buyers and a price reduction is needed and not actioned we are left carrying the property. Non of the advise we gave was taken on board, hence why we were happy to walk away from your contract lock in period. Its not a coincidence we sell many houses in the area and continue to take on many happy and successful customers. We can only work with vendors who are happy to work with us. Once again I wish you all the best with the next estate agent.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
