Property seemed to be amateurly re-painted before moving in, terrible job. The carpet seemed new but every single inch creaked and sunk a few milimeters here and there, made you wonder if they hired the right contractors for the job. A report of the state of the house said "It had loose grounding" but this wasn't any compulsory fix so Next didn't have to act on it. When I was being let by them, they had outsourced bill payment and estimation to another company, who screwed up and faulted on some payments like Internet access leaving us with no connection for weeks at times, there was no compensation despite internet access being in the contract. They schedulled visits from gardeners to the property but failed to notify us, making us turn the gardeners away for lack of proper identification and notification. They failed to mention other tenants in the property of move-in dates of future tenants. I was close to calling the police on a stranger who moved into my property at 2 AM while I was sleeping. They failed to return my deposit (or even review it) after months, my emails fell into silence as they never replied. Threatened to get DPS involved and only then they reacted, the person who I spoke to seemed not to know that DPS is there to broker between landlord and tenant and not just to protect the landlord. Despite all of this, I gave them two stars as they have been very friendly and flexible when it came to contractual lengths, and me lacking guarantors, they let me pay rent ahead and save me from having to use guarantors.
