Moved into rental in September. The agents handed over a dirty and damp property. Unable to view before due to covid restrictions. Property had been vacant for a couple of months which they did nothing until the day before we moved in. The handyman was fixing a leak in the kitchen ceiling whilst we were moving in. The mess of the house was disgusting coke stains on walls, bathroom unclean, rubbish left from previous tenant. Damp in 2 of the 3 bedrooms wallpaper peeling off the walls. Complained and asked for various repairs to be undertaken complaint is still ongoing. The Mid term review highlighted other areas of concern, still nothing done aside from a contractor to quote on work. Result of leaks has damaged personal property, the list goes on. The agents never provide an update and take no responsibility in making things right. Customer service - poor/ nothing Taking responsibility - not sure they know what that means Responding to emails - think they may have forgotten their password to log in. Phone - voicemail think they are too busy looking for the password to their email address to answer anything. Action - default response we are waiting for the landlord to make a decision. How I perceive their company ethos: “Just pay the rent and don't bother us because we will do nothing about it anyway. “ One star is generous

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
