Just had very rude set of emails to a simple enquiry as follows from * manager. Do not recommend obviously! They didn't reply to my initial rightmove messages, they only sent me a email saying I registered my details in their Worle branch which I did not. Manager somehow took me as being rude which was not my intention, and does not like feedback. Apparently blocked me "from their systems" so I assume seniors won't see it. I have reported to property ombudsman and professional bodies with the full set of messages for looking at. My reply: Hi I didn't register my details!! I only sent an enquiry that seems to have been ignored : Eastfield flat - your ad doesn't say what floor it is? What is lease length? Are pets allowed? What's the ground rent and any annual or monthly management fees etc? Thanks, * (Still ignoring my enquiry) Good Afternoon Thank you for your e-mail, I am sorry that you feel that you have been ignored. If you look at the property details that are available on all websites you will see that since the property was made available all of the information that you require is shown. I can assure you that your details have not been registered and we will not contact you with information regarding other properties. Regards * Me: Hi The questions I asked were not in the description or I wouldn't have bothered you! I feel I was ignored as I haven't had a reply and youve still not given me information I asked for. I've picked another property due to the response I have had. Not a great way to treat customers! Me, attempting to forward this exchange to seniors: Hi I asked the following questions via email via rightmove and didnt get any answers, I only got the response that I visited your Worle branch and registered my details, which I didnt. I re emailed questions direct and got an unhelpful response which I feel brushed me off and wasn't great. The questions were still not answered and your ad on Rightmove does not answer them. It doesn't even say what floor it is for example. Which is fine, its why I enquired, and I thought you wouldn't mind talking to a potential buyer? I picked another property due to this, thought you would like to be aware why. *: Thank you for your feedback. I can't understand this as all of the information was clearly available on all the portals within the property description. I felt attacked in your initial email you were unnecessarily rude. I am pleased to hear you have found a property through an alternative agent. Maybe your own conduct should be examined , there is a saying that you reap what you sow. Agents are risking their lives going into properties on a daily basis & often with dependent shielders to look after during this COVID crisis, we are may I remind you in the middle of a pandemic. This unpleasant behave should not be tolerated from our end either! Me: This is professional! Yes as a key worker in medical settings I am aware I was not rude in my initial email and how exactly was I attacking you? You are being unpleasant here! There were some details of the fees and costs in ad but I didn't see any of the other things I enquired about in the advert description Judging by YOUR conduct I can see it was the best move not to deal with you! * (blocking me from system, apparently):Please rest assured after this email has been sent you have been completely blocked on our email system . Accusing our staff of not being bothered is unnecessarily aggressive particularly when all staff in all work places are under such COVID work pressures. I am sure that even you are not perfect working under such conditions yourself. It strikes me that you have had a bad day & are looking for a fight with someone, especially after you did receive an apology in my first response back. Please rest assured I will not be entering into this, as I say none of your emails will now be received or responded to as requested. You have already stated that you are buying through another agent so I am very unclear what you hope to achieve this evening & this conversation is now blocked by myself & ended.

The agent have very poor relationship with tenant if the tenancy ends. They end up forcing you to reclaim your deposit via the long Statutory Declaration process. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
