My wife and I sold our home with Alex Jones and could not speak highly enough of them. From start to finish, Alex was excellent. When we rang to put our house on the market, we were a little nervous as it was our first time selling (first time buyers 15 years ago) but Alex quickly put us at ease and answered any questions we had. We had previously had a ludicrous quote to sell with another well-known local estate agent, who estimated our house to be well below what we thought it was worth and what we needed (one can only presume they want quick commission via a quick sale) but the moment we were ready, Alex came round to value the house and using his expert knowledge of the market, he valued our house fairly and importantly at what we thought was a good price based on other local sales etc. Again, as soon as we were ready and our house was "prep'd" a photographer was sent to ours who got some fantastic pictures. Our house had three viewers (and was sold within 24 hours) for full asking price! Through no fault of Alex Jones' our sale fell through right before exchange (issues at the buyer's end) which, needless to say was distressing and worrying to say the least; we risked losing our dream home. However, Alex was very comforting and reassuring - and within a matter of hours, Alex put our house back on the market and was arranging viewings and negotiating with prospective buyers etc. He soon found us the perfect buyer. I have since recommended Alex Jones to friends and family in the area and it's fantastic to see those boards outside nearby houses rather than the usual suspects' boards. A small, independent and family-run estate agents (who don't charge the earth but give you a fantastic service) like these guys really deserve it. As a final comment, the day after we moved, Alex rang us to check how we were getting on in our new home. He had no obligation to; his job was done - our house was sold, but it's that special touch and consideration that makes all the difference.
