I recently viewed a property, marketed by Lovelle. Viewing happened as scheduled through vendor directly/ offer put in. Initial offer declined, improved offer given resulting in one single email slightly increased compromising offer would be acceptable by vendor. My wife did a second visit/ slightly increased offer confirmed by email to meet vendor requirement over the weekend. On Monday, estate agent replied older emails but not the last email exchange. I had expected confirmation/ offer accepted but instead I got an email of a substantial higher offer of somebody else / invitation to go over that offer.
