My viewing was cancelled as I was half way down the M1 to come and see it. I understand that you take it off when someone puts a deposit down but it’s put me out significantly & it’s not a great process where I’d planned to be able to at least see it & not warned it could be taken off at any time.

Shockingly poor and unprofessional estate/letting agents who are incapable of doing basic admin. We rented a property from this agency, and they left our deposit of 1700 pounds with a company my deposit. When we moved out we left the house immaculate and the agency new this. Wilsons of Bovingdon have let six properties on our behalf, both in Bovingdon and Hemel Hempstead. We have found them to be most helpful and courteous. I used Wilson to let my property. No referencing was done, the tenant had a false name, 9 CCJ's and no job, as a result I incurred £15K in lost income and legal fees and damages. For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
