3 months ago, my sister rent a house in 43Richard Close, Aylesbury with this worst agency ( Neil &Douglas ) She cannot have the shower since 3 months, she complained about her problems since first day.A plumber was coming and take the faucet shower 2weeks ago but today she received an answer from Chloe “ Apologies for the delay. The landlord has asked for multiple quotes for the shower, which we are in the process of getting. As you currently still have full use of the bath and washing facilities this is not emergency maintenance and as we are in lockdown this is taking a little longer than usual. In regards to the garage door, she has suggested trying some wd40 on the lock/hinges before we send a contractor. Dear Zaff, Thank you for your review, As you aware Neil Douglas have been managing your development for more than 5 years and in all that time you have never been up-to-date with your payments. This has resulted in our client, the directors of your Management Company, to instruct us to commence legal action against you. Our period as managing agents is soon to come to an end because I have chosen to terminate the managing agent contract in order to focus the efforts of my company elsewhere. The baton will therefore be passed to another agent who, like the agent before Neil Douglas, will have to deal with a small number of leaseholders, including you, who have consistently refused to pay what they owe and have therefore had the building insurance and other company matters paid for by other members of the company – who are all extremely angry with you about this. You work in the property sector, you know how damaging inaccurate online reviews can be. I am disappointed you have failed to raise a formal through the mechanism put in place by Neil Douglas which would, if you found the result of your complaint unacceptable to you, allow you to escalate it to the independent Property Ombudsman. The content of your review is entirely without fact and frankly, reflects very poorly on someone who works in the property industry and understands the issues surrounding service charges. It’s nothing more than a smear attempt and I hope that any future and prospective clients of Neil Douglas place it to one side and concentrate on honest references from leaseholders who are not serial bad debtors.
