We had a terrible experience renting our property out with this agent while we were on an overseas military posting. They claimed to vet prospective tenants and inspect the property on a regular basis. We suspect that they did neither given the state the property was returned to us. Despite an occasional email telling us the property was “fine and in good order” it cost us hundreds of pounds to restore to its pre-let condition. The check in inventories and check out reports were not detailed and the photos contained within them were of such low quality that the tenants were able to easily claim that the damage they did was fair wear and tear. Which it clearly wasn’t and we retain photos as evidence to prove otherwise. When we asked to see the inspection records, ELR told us that they had been destroyed despite the fact that our contract with them had not even ended! I would not recommend this agent to anyone as we would not trust them to look after our property again.
