Another minus score from me if I could. Wish I’d seen the other poor reviews before instructing Steven Oates. False promises for a quick exchange convincing me to accept an offer through them in favour of a higher offer through another agent was just the start. I was lied to continually throughout the protracted process and when I threatened to go with my other buyers was called childish! I was shouted at when I asked them to question my buyer’s true intentions – ‘what do you expect me to do about it’! For the fee I had rather naively expected them to act on my behalf. After this my emails were simply ignored. As other people have commented – if you want to do all the chasing/viewing yourself and be subject to sheer unprofessionalism then Steven Oates is for you.
