Lied about having already a house lined up by seller(easy chain). Lied in responce to a direct question regarding an external wall and a conservatory claiming no building permission was needed in a conservation area, when it was clear the council required it and survey/lawyer had confirmed that. Stringed us along and cost us over 3k in fees just to find out sellers were in no hurry and didn't really want to sale. Did not give any update to our lawyer for 4 weeks despite constant chasing. Tried to break the law by asking the seller to call our lawyer directly withought representation. Kept asking us to talk directly to seller. In the end had the nerve to quote fears over coronavirus for the faliure of the sale. As a result we had to rent again, almost left us homeless as we had timed our contracts to the initially agreed date. This agent doesn't screen sellers and will waste buyers time and tons of money! You think corona is bad- avoid Marcus Anthony like the plague!

Honest, personal, reliable service. That is the best way to sum up Dean from Marcus Anthony. The property took a while to sell, however, this was more due to the slow down in the market rather than lack of trying on their behalf.
