Poor estate agents - would definitely not recommend. Thought I'd write one on here been as the owner basically denied everything I said on my review on google. We were promised that the property would be clean and painted before we arrived. When we arrived there were crumbs in the draw (I have photo evidence of this even though they say my comments are 'factually incorrect' - there were plug sockets hanging off the wall, burglar alarm didn't work - a stained mattress in one of the rooms and leftovers from previous tenants in the cupboard in the living room. I complained about these issues several times - it took them 5 weeks to fix - which they deny of course. Then to top it all off - they charged me 25 pound for three white tac marks on the wall - even though we were told we could use white tac. This according to the agent was 'excessive damage' - there were already several blue tac stains on the wall when I arrived (again I have photo evidence) but apparently my three small white tac stains were 'excessive damage'. I was also ill with the flu on the day we were supposed to have possible tenants looking around. My door was locked and I was in bed poorly. I stated to the agent I wasn't very well. Whilst I appreciate they send emails letting them know people are coming round, I was really ill and she just proceeded to come in anyway which I didn't think was very professional. They have photos of the property - she could've showed it them but instead she proceeded to walk in with me in bed ill and several students just staring at me which was embarrassing. Of course it wasn't excessive damage when the roof started leaking in my room underneath my printer which could have caused excessive damage. Of course they will deny all this. Poor estate agents - poor communication with tenants, would not recommend at all.
