Awful. Disappointing. No tenant care. If I could give them 0 stars that would be too much. Long story short: if you are looking to rent a property and it is through Foxtons, refuse. No matter how nice the property. Try to make an arrangement with the landlord to go privately and not through Foxtons. They are insensitive, greedy so and so's. I am in the process of buying a house. Due to COVID there have been significant delays. We have kept continuous communications with the landlord to say we cannot move out at the end date and do not know when we will be able to move out and into our purchase. Foxtons knew this too. They have then agreed for new tenants, with signatures on relevant paperwork, to move in. When we had confirmed we would not be ready to move out by the new tenants' move in date. They bullied us into moving out anyway which would leave us homeless, saying that the new tenants would be homeless when in actual fact they can stay where they are no problem, after claiming they had contacted the new tenants in regards to extending their move in date, when they had not even bothered. All because they do not give a flying turd about the current tenants as they are only interested in getting their fee. This has caused insurmountable levels of stress. I did not know I could be this angry at one stupid, slime-ball of a company. They have finally attempted to solve the issue once they realised that even with their bullying, we would not move out. But this could have been done weeks ago. When we told them we would not be able to move out in time. I have so so many nasty feelings towards them. No wonder my estate agent dealing with my purchase said they have the worst reputation of all the agencies out there (I have also heard this from my mortgage adviser and homebuyers survey company).
