An utter disgrace, almost unbelievably so, morally bankrupt & lacking in basic integrity & decency to a level that is almost impossible to describe. I made a 12 hour round trip to view a house, & paid hundreds in fares & accommodation, having already found a buyer for my house & arranged solicitors & a survey. I had enquired about the house for months before, & the estate agent had already failed to answer many emails, but I persevered, being interested enough in the house, having little choice but to deal with the agent the seller had appointed I subsequently made an offer on the house. The estate agent Mary, was limp & unhelpful, utterly useless at negotiations, seemed almost afraid to approach the seller, providing little info & the situation was increasingly frustrating & protracted as a result, but again, had no choice when they were the only contact provided. Imagine my surprise, when mid negotiation, I go online & find the very house I am negotiating on, & that I am apparently the ONLY interested party in, has been marked as 'SSTC', but not to ME. I have since found out, that this agent's apparent limpness was actually due to the fact that despite being repeatedly asked whether there was any other interest & offers on this property, they blatantly & repeatedly lied to me throughout the entirity of my dealings with them, & told me there were NO other offers or interest, presumably to keep me as a 'reserve' should the buyer they had ALREADY lined up, but who had not yet come through with the necessary 'proof of funds' not prove viable. They also, took this buyer's offer, in advance, without the necessary proof of funds, which they INSISTED upon from me, & allowed them to take weeks to supply it, whilst stringing me along, & lying to me the entire time, claiming to pass my offers on to the seller, when they knew all along that there was already an existing offer in place & repeatedly concealed this information from me. When I complained re the fact that I had been strung along & had NEVER been informed of the existing offer, I then received both via email & letter, various supposed legal reasons from Cindy, the 'Branch Partner' & excuses as to why I HAD NOT & COULD NOT be informed of the existing offer, which was supposedly made 'just before' mine (see photos). When I then made my complaint formal & this was supposedly 'fully investigated' by the Managing Director, Jonathan Lovelle, suddenly 'ALL' of the staff 'recalled informing me about the other offer', in yet another LIE demonstrating why no company should EVER be trusted to investigate itself, & totally CONTRADICTING themselves, literally in black & white. These people are ignorant, arrogant, thoughtless, deceitful & frankly CRUEL in the extreme. Their lack of regard for other people is shocking & almost incomprehensible, & I am utterly devastated & traumatised by their actions. I am disabled & seriously ill, & they have caused me to spend hundreds, & seriously wasted a great deal of my own & other people's time. I am in a domestic violence situation & purposefully made sure to have arranged the buyer for my house & all of the paperwork and solicitors etc, so as to not be a timewaster, & to avoid as much stress as possible, given that I am in fact ill, & to present myself as a genuine buyer, only to find an agent who is the biggest TIMEWASTER & stress inducer I have ever come across in my life. Not content with treating me in the appalling way they did, I was then subjected to bullying via the Branch Manager's charming FB 'friends'. Given the chance to apologise, & admit their deceit, they instead chose to totally contradict themselves with yet more LIES, & further insult my intelligence, & I will now be taking this to the Ombudsman, but nothing that happens now will restore the damage they have caused me. If you want to be messed around, lose the house you are trying to buy, treated like dirt, made to feel like you cease to exist the minute something better comes along, & then bullied & threatened by their FB friends, I highly recommend this agency.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
