We marketed a cottage in June 2018 with Hinchliffe Holmes. At first they were very helpful and communicative. They took the usual photographs and published them on Rightmove and in their office in Tarporley. We had several viewings through 2018 but no sale. As a result we commissioned a second agent from Whitchurch to work in partnership with Hinchliffes. Feed back from viewings was that the cottage could do with a new bathroom. In Jan 2019 a new bathroom was installed and pictures re taken. We contacted Hinchliffes to ask the previous viewers if they would like to view the property after the changes. They agreed. After three weeks there was no response, so their office was called. The response from the member of staff was that she had been busy and hadn't bee able to make the calls. After a number of further calls I received a response that the viewers declined a further visit. Since the summer of 2019 we have not had any communication from Hinchliffes. No updates or anything. Emailed them several times. No response. The firm in Whitchurch were just brilliant and we can't praise them enough. They informed Hinchliffes that the property had sold in December and we even had to remind them to send their invoice on close of sale. Overall, very dissappointing service.
