We had booked an appointment to view a property. Due to not knowing the area well, we struggled to find the property using the maps that the agent's website had pointed us to. We arrived just eight minutes late, but there was no agent, nor was there a for sale board on any of the properties on the street. The details of the property on their website didn't include the number of the property and the street had a lot of similar looking houses. We phoned the agent while still on the street and met with no help: The agent wasn't coming back and they didn't even bother to attempt to set-up another appointment. It took the better part of an hour to reach the property, so it was very frustrating to not be able to view for want of being slightly late.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
