Had a terrible experience with this estate agent, took them a very short time to find us a tenant who passed an individual referencing. Very soon it’s clear that’s a shady, self-employed tenant with vile attitude and refuse to pay rent, Chissick Estate didn’t let us know until we noticed money hasn’t been transferred for serval months. Then the agent took action to file for payment protection insurance but past the expiration period which leads to the insurance being denied. We ended up having to go through all the section 8 and section 21 process, filing paper works, liaising with solicitor ourselves and lost a lot of rent money and legal fees on top. And as expected, after several traumatising months we finally got the property back and was left in an atrocious state (broken shower and white goods, rubbish everywhere etc.) During the whole process the estate agent provided minimum guidance and support, Paulo was very difficult to get hold of, often not returning calls with no staff taking care of matters while he’s on holiday, they pretty much only did what they had to do when asked/chased many times. I would not recommend using them at all.

Absolutely terrible. Made offer to a house in clayhall for 410000 which had been accepted. We find out 4 month later it's been re advertised by the same estate agent! Went to see a place in Hainualt, meet with the landlord and a guy from the agency. Came back after ten minutes for a 2nd viewing and the landlord came down, had a quick word with him since as he came down and could not find the guy from the agency. 1 Feb 2019Avoid these guys for lettings. They recommended a self-employed tenant, who stopped paying. The lettings manager corresponded with the tenant and the official notices had grammatical and spelling...
