We had visited all the other estate agents in Blaby and were very impressed as soon as we walked into the Walkers office. Although they had plenty of properties in their shop front window their office was actually upstairs. Both the staff were on the phone, but they both actually made eye contact. One of the conversations was very deep, but I was impressed at how the agent was speaking to them. As soon as they came off the phone one of them stood up and greeted us, and made a jokey comment about the stairs which put us at ease. The office was very relaxed, although a bit untidy. The agent we dealt with really knew his stuff and all the proper details. They had no internal photos, but he knew exactly what each house was like inside, and he really made us want to view some of the houses he had given, and by asking us lots of probing questions he actually told us not to bother viewing 3 of our chosen properties! I told my wife after, that he cannot be being paid commission. PS. We left the office and he had not even mentioned the dreaded mortgage word. Most of the other agents only seemed interested in our mortgage.
