Awful man awful company. I rented a property for 2 years from this company ( if you can call it that). 2014-2016. The house was falling apart. Had to wait months for repairs. Even the leaking roof in my daughters room he left for nearly a year. Constant issues. He would turn up every 6 months for a pointless instection, were nothing would be done. Apart from his intimadation. He gets a jolly from making single mums feel uneasy. I suffered a great deal of personal stress and had alot of problems. I left a few months beforw the end of term. With the landlords permission. It was all arranged. When i left the property i did everything on the list of cleaning etc and more. Left the property in good condition. He then took all my deposit and a £1000 extra stating the house needed repairs. Not from me. The house and appliances were old etc. He charged me for the washing machine breaking when the new tennants moved in. And some thing to do with the cooker. Basically ripping me off to replace everything. Clearly taking advantage of me. I was depressed and in a bad way at the time. He knew what he was doing Very calculated. He took me and my elderly mum to court. I couldnt go as suffered a loss as was too stressed and upset. So i had to pay a reduced amount. This man is a joke. A distgusting piece of work. He ripped off a friend of mine who rented one of his houses on the same street. For repairs and cleaning that was not needed also. Steve hewlett should be shut down. He is a nasty piece of work and so unprofessional.
