My husband and I are relocating to Switzerland and chose Hayman Joyce as agents to let our home. Several staff visited the property, they were all extremely complimentary and made comments that lead us to believe that they could easily let the property well within our time limit. Unfortunately from day one their total lack of communication concerned us. They chose to market our property for less than had been agreed without speaking with us first, the photographer visited to take photographs, we received no proofs or any access whatsoever to view them before they went online. I enquired at their office and was greeted by a member of staff who was very vague and disinterested, she promised that someone would call us but we heard nothing. Lucy eventually called us and was apologetic. Our home is tucked away in a beautiful private lane with no passing traffic, so it seemed natural to place an advertising board on the main road, once again, it was up to us to suggest this to the agents. We continually had to ring them for information on any potential viewings. During the Four month period our property was on with them, we had only One viewing. We received no feedback and once again had to contact Hayman Joyce to ask if they had spoken to the people, their reply was that it's the norm that some people do not give feedback! When my husband delivered a letter to their office advising that we were removing our property from their agency, we at the very least expected a call from them apologising for their lack of customer service, but we've heard nothing and it's no surprise. We have removed their board ourselves, it's still awaiting their collection. A very disappointing experience in all.
