Contacted Greenwoods to arrange a viewing of a rental property for myself, wife and son. The lady from Greenwoods informed me as I was starting a new job I would need a guarantor or pay six months rent up front. As a 48 professional with an unblemished credit history I felt insulted that I may have to ask my 80 year old father to act as a guarantor. I feel sorry for the many young people who have no choice but to go along with such practices.
