Locks were changed by their contractors who didn't pass on a spare key as a management set. No procedure for them to monitor this so were unaware they didn't have a full set of keys. The staff were incompetent and rude. The only thing they seemed to be good at was avoiding taking responsibility for their failings. I visited their office after calling them resulted in no action. I asked direct questions of Julia which she made out to be rude as she had no answer for her inaction other than say that she'd called the tenant to arrange an inspection. Time was short as I'd arrived from Canada following my mother's death. They even managed to upset the tenant too. I complained about their 'manager' Julia RIley and asked for a meeting with a more senior manager. Finally he responded and was told that I had been rude to Julia and would not grant me a meeting but offered to terminate their agreement with no notice period. I was more than glad to accept termination and put our rental property in the hands of a more competent agent. I would not recommend these to anyone. My brother arranged the rental and picked these as they were the cheapest. It isn't worth it pay a bit more and get a decent agent. We did research on other agents for a separate property and heard so many good reports about Jennings & Barrett we used them instead. We are moving our business to Jennings & Barrett as we have no issues with them at all.
They could have done their job with less incompetence, more willingness to sort out the issue and a more helpful approach. Julia Riley in particular was awful. When I entered their office, instead of a warm welcome and a cheery disposition she adopted the pose of a rabbit in headlights. She appeared caught out by a customer actually asking her what she had done, other than sit at her desk and make ineffective phone calls.

I completely regret not looking at these reviews before embarking on a career path with this company. The overall experience was absolutely disgusting, my first 3 weeks in to the company were solely sitting and reading contracts with no guidance or training. They weren't kidding when in house ... The worst expierience ever ! We made an offer and it was accepted but during the weekend they let someone else to buy it. It looks that they didn't want to sell the house to us because we choose different agent to sell our current property. They even hung up the phone !!! They are liars and they... Read Full Review

For me service is the most important offering from an estate agent. Prices vary we know but in this stressful time what one really needs is assistance. It would appear Robinson Jackson Welling provide excellent assistance if your selling through them, however, if you are buying through them one... Read Full Review
Be of a service to both the Vendor and the buyer not just the party they were receiving payment from.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
