Easy Location

Firstly , i am renting a property from easy location otley and i am writing this review to warn people about the kind of people theese estate agents are. when we signed our tennacy it was for an initial 6months, CHRIS HENDRY the man who appears to own easy location with his wife GILL, failed to tell us about a serious damp problem at the property on elliott street. it is so bad that our 18month old has had serious health problems due to the damp. easy location painted over the damp when we first moved in so you couldnt tell untill it rained and by then we were stuck there for 6months. easylocation failed to declare a problem with next door who has continually harrased me and as im pregnant i really didnt need the added stress. easy location gave my personal phone number to the landlord who then constantly phoned day and night to shout and ball about wanting access to the property when we explained we were at work or busy and could they rearrange a new day and time he swore at me and shouted. we had to pay out for a fumigator due to woodlice from the damp, the ceiling is nearly collapsing, we applied for housing benifit and easylocation failed to reply to the counicl making us in rent arrears they refuse to accept it and therefore blame us for their lack of comunication. the staff at easy location are EXTREMEMLY rude and aggressive we have recieved rude and aggressive voicemails from them if we fail to answer the phone. they are shocking, how they got there license is beyond me. They make threats threw voicemail if you dont answer they will bang on the windows and doors. its appalling. especially as im 8months pregnant and have a 18month old who is petrified because of the landlord braying on the door and windows. these people cannot be trusted, they rented us a unsafe and unfit house enviromental health have been informed. i urge anyone that is thinking of renting a property threw easylocation to seriously THINK AGAIN
