Dorchester Property Lettings is a privately owned family business and operates with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Being totally independent and owning our own premises in High West Street, Dorchester, we are able to keep our costs down and offer fair charges to both Landlords and Tenants.
On the premises a
re the Owners, Mike and Lynn Jerome as well as part time staff during busy times.
Mike and Lynn both have long term experience in the property industry. Mike managed shopping centres and blocks of flats for institutional investors and pension funds and Lynn was responsible for maintenance at the famous Harefield Heart Hospital in West London.
Property maintenance, (for both Landlords and any other Property Owners) is carried out by our contractors who are known to us and have been vetted for insurance, health and safety compliance and competence. We do not mark up maintenance work on jobs that are below £500 unless there are peculiar circumstances.
As part of our commitment to the local community, Dorchester Property Lettings owns a small Judo club in Fordington. It is a new club, originating May 2016 and is attended by local children who are beginners in Judo. Mike is the chief instructor having first practiced Judo in 1969.
Mike is very keen to teach the virtues of Judo to young people and hopes that his efforts will help them in the future.”

I have used Dorchester Property lettings for over 3 years first as representative of the freeholder of a block dealing with a problem occupier of one of the flats. Mike dealt with our problem sensibly and speedily and the tenant became more reasonable and far better behaved. As a result of this I decided to let one of my own flats through Dorchester Property lettings and a tenant was found who turned out to be ideal. When the tenant returned to their home country I asked Mike to re let the property but on a fully managed agency. I wish I had done this before I now have no problems,if repairs are require Mike sorts it out. If the tenant has a problem or requires me to do something,Mike discusses this and then contacts me to agree to what is required. I get monthly notification the rent is paid and the money appears in my account the next day. Top rate service One other real bonus is that his fees are very reasonable. Top rate Service Thanks
