As a landlord - the experience started fine but service ended up being very very poor. Basically they just take your money each month for very little in return. The rents were always paid late and no communication ever received unless chased up by me. All other properties I rent out are 99% paidon time. I eventually got fed up with them and cancelled my last management contract this month and they still had the cheek to charge a £300 termination fee even though I cancelled due to their poor service and they had been managing the property for nearly 5 years. I would not recommend Fife letting and would advise potential landlords to look elsewhere.

Although we do not like to go into specific details publicly we should point out that all rents in this case are up to date and there are currently no arrears with your tenant. We believe the negative review has been submitted simply because you didn't want to adhere to the terms of your agency agreement.

14 Nov 2018Thanks for your response Stuart. If you didn't have the cheek to charge £300 termination fee at the end of a long lease then everything would have been acceptable. There is not many places you get charged to leave under circumstances of poor customer service. If you feel the urge to refund me the £300 then I am happy to change the reviews as this would change my overall opinion of the service I have received.

15 Nov 2018All rents are now up to date but they were always late every month without any communication. The negative review was left due to the experiences of me your customer. Please note that it was ME who cancelled the agreement due to your continued poor customer service...it was nothing to do with me not adhering any agency agreement and please don't make out it was in everyones best interest and that it was a decision made in any way by you.. I am not getting involved in a slagging match with you and just giving my experience as your customer. It is up to other landlords to decide.

7 Aug 2021I was disappointed to see this review as I am looking to change from my current agent due to late rent payments not being chased - and more importantly lack of communication. I recognise that relationships may have broken down - Are you able to outline how you deal with late payments (both in regard t the tenant and landlord) and what is done to chase these up? Awful company. Anyone looking to rent of these guys.
