....prospective tenants. We rented a property for 6 months in Thorpe, Surrey through Savills. Both the landlord and Savills were incredibly controlling. We were deducted over £700 from our deposit due to what Savills classed as “dilapidations” - some of which included miniscule marks on the walls, stones being in a drain, scuffs on a door step. Although we went above and beyond to ensure the property was kept pristine, professionally cleaned and looked after, we were still treated with disrespect, various times throughout the short tenancy, including our privacy being invaded by the landlord. I would strongly advise anyone to not rent a property through Savills - please be very cautious if you choose to.
