We rented a property from Roger deans heald Green from 1st Jan 2017..paid there fees & 1 month in advance But after many requests only got the property key on the 19th January.. No light bulbs in the property, the cooker did not work, after many requests these issues were never resolved. After 18months,The landlord wanted to sell the property, we offered to continue paying 1 month in advance to stay until the property was sold, the agent responded by text saying yes that's OK. An elderly friend who had just come out of hospital passed away in the property which caused great distress, we requested that property viewings the next day would be cancelled, but no, the directors of Roger Deans, insisted viewings must go ahead so no respect for us the tenants to grieve. Then we were told we would have to go by the16 August, no compromise although we had paid 1 month in advance, they arrived with bailiffs & locksmiths, we had one hour to get everything outside in the rain. The cooker was never fixed, we paid for 18 days rent in January & 15 days rent in August that we were denied, a 33 day rental rip off.... My opinion don't use them, find a professional estate agent.
