Having recently had to rent whilst our flat was renovated after a flood we were housed in a flat which was 'managed' by LetCheck A huge burn on the carpet was not listed. The washing machine was a different make to the one on their list. The DVD player was actually a play station and there were many items in the kitchen not listed. When we vacated we met with the gentleman from Letcheck to specifically hand over the keys. This was done and after a 5 minute chat we left. Nearly 3 weeks later Letcheck say we only gave them 1 set of keys and we have to pay over £400 to have the locks changed!! It is now over a month and we are still waiting for J D Wood to return our deposit! Always get a signature when you return the keys as they are not trustworthy and highly inefficient
