When deciding to go with Arden to sell our house all seemed fine and we were happy with how the first meeting went. After not recieving any viewings for a few weeks we called the agent to ask what was going on. We were then advised to change all the decor as apparently this was the reason people were put off - bearing in mind all the colours in the house were browns and greys.. Neutral colours. Changed all back to white walls. When we finally had some veiwings we were then asked to carry them out ourselves, as agents were not avaliable. We had a knock on the door one evening from someone interested in buying our house.. who had been told by our agent that we were not taking offers or any viewings. The agents seemed more interested in getting viewings carried out for the other house on the street. Very rare feedback. Only got feedback when we rang and asked the agents ourselves.. Rightmove feedback made no sense. Sending me an email of a property i may be interested in - this ended up being my own property... the property those agents were selling for me. Asking me if i would like to view a house that had no garage or parking.. the main things we asked for/ needed in a house. Overall very poor experience made a lot more stressful than it had to be due to these points.
