What a bunch of incompetent idiots. They fixed my window, but actually made it too loose...tried to tell them about it, was ignored, ended up damaging the hanger that holds the curtains because window basically almost fell out, had to fix myself. Then they take off money from the deposit because of a damaged hanger hahahaha. Getting the security deposit has been one hell of a fight, even once it was agreed upon howmuch we'd get back from the deposit (which took 2 weeks longer then was promised) After the agreement, one agent has 'gone on leave'. Then I was assured the paperwork has been processed and would take a few days to receive, once I asked for proof..NO MORE ANSWERS HAHA... OH YEA ONE MORE THING...the last tenants left a huge!! huge ink mark (looks like a few pens just exploded under the bed) They deducted it from their deposit but never replaced the mattress for us hahaha. Seemed like we'd get a new mattress, but once rent was paid, we never heard back from the landlord in all 12 months, agency would just ignore us completely. (hoping to receive our deposit sometime in this lifetime)
The fees? what you mean $200 for printing out paper, then they wanted more fees if we wanted to EXTEND OUR CONTRACT...just to get every last $ they can squeeze out.

Been mindful of their tenants and actively tried to keep us on side by delivering on promises.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
