Would not recommend to my worst enemy. A terrible experience with Entwistle Green (Westhoughton branch). The team were never really interested in helping us pursue the house we wanted and made up lies, excuses and tried to delay our purchase as much as they physically could. We dealt with Tammy and Claire who made little effort in easing what should be a fun and exciting experience for a first time buyer. They tried their absolute hardest to keep us from viewing the house, despite the fact we rushed to put together a proof of deposit for them as this was apparently a requirement. They then claimed to have "accepted" our offer.. yet still listed a previous lower offer on their website. They kept taking other offers and completely backtracked on the fact they accepted our offer. Meanwhile, we were still adamant we wanted this house, so we raised the stakes.. so much to the point that both Tammy and Claire claimed that they would be opting for another buyer for a LOWER PRICE. It was never about price.. they never took our offer seriously and tried to delay our purchase from going ahead (by claiming they were having "technical issues").. and it was always me that chased them for updates. If they ever faced an issue, they wouldn't contact me. I had to pick up the phone 5 times a day to get every little update and attempt to hold their hand through the process. It's now become apparent that they never wanted us to hold hands. Service was so poor - Claire (someone who is clearly in the wrong job!) could barely count up our deposit figures. I am still trying to understand what their hidden agenda was, but one thing is for sure... they are rotten to the core and made our lives an absolute misery. What a waste of time and effort. This experience has made me lose faith in the fact that there must be good, honest and hard-working people out there.
